Is the Apple iPhone 6 battery recall a thing?

Many people initially thought it was a safety issue that the phone would shut down during moments of stress. I first noticed the battery life drop when using my device outside in the cold. Apple has since confirmed that this isn’t a safety issue and only affects devices within a specific range of serial numbers manufactured between September and October 2015. Although, there have been reported cases outside that time frame. It is the reason Apple decided to be so generous with this deal. The best part is that the Apple iPhone 6 battery recall will extend to all devices 6 and newer.

Also, Apple hid the fact that the iPhone will notably decrease in speed as the battery’s cells deteriorate. This misinformation seemed like an excellent way to trick people including myself into buying a brand new phone every couple years.

How to take advantage of the situation

This technique has been available for a while now, but many people still don’t know about it or have not capitalized on it. Don’t worry though you have not missed it. You have until December 31, 2018, and the out-of-warranty battery service fee is $29 for all eligible iPhone 6 or later models. Also, it will be limited to one repair per iPhone. I haven’t tried it myself, but it is on my list. I heard from some people who have done it that it is comparable to buying a new phone. Which is incredible, and I can’t wait because I too have suffered from battery problems for quite some time now.

Since Apple’s website is the hardest to navigate in the history of the internet. I have found and included the link you need below. If you don’t plan on doing this now, I recommend bookmarking this page.

To begin this process head over to Apple Support and request a battery replacement. You can set it at an Apple store which allows you to walk in and replace it immediately. You can also send your phone into Apple, but who wants to go without a phone, right!
